Horsin Around Camps

Time: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Saddle up for three days of adventure, learning, and horsemanship! Designed for kids and teens ages 10–17, this camp combines skill-building, games, and team challenges in the beautiful East Kootenay backcountry.

Campers will:

• Participate in horseback and ranch games, including obstacle courses, relay challenges, and team competitions
• Develop hands-on horsemanship skills, including grooming, saddling, proper riding
techniques, and basic horse care
• Try introductory barrel and pole exercises to build coordination, control, and confidence, while enjoying problem-solving activities that encourage teamwork
• Final Day: Enjoy a 2.5-hour trail ride, followed by friendly competitions and a prize
presentation, celebrating accomplishments and making the experience unforgettable

Each day emphasizes skill development, learning, and fun, helping campers become more confident riders while building a deeper connection with their horses.

Campers will be with experienced wranglers matched to each group, ensuring safety,
guidance, and personal attention for every camper.
